The electric car; dead?

Who Killed the Electric Car trailer

I'll get right into it.

I have been so subject to how much corruption there is in America and the world lately, and I felt need to mention some of it.

Most recently- the auto industry and the death of the electric car.

This topic has been inspired by the aptly titled documentary from Sony classic pictures, "Who Killed the Electric Car". This is the preview, above.

Here are some quotes:

"In 1996, electric cars began to appear on roads all over California. They were quiet, and fast, produced no exhaust & ran without gasoline. Ten years later, these futuristic cars were almost entirely gone. What happend? Why should we be haunted by the ghost of the electric car?"

"For the last fifteen years, they've been telling us the fuel cells are 10-15 years off."

"There's still roughly a trillion barrels of oil in the earth's crust. That's 100 trillion dollars worth of business, yet to be done."

Some interesting stats and compelling arguments on the site; it's showing in select theatres across the country now.

Next: This video about our fast food (And you thought supersize me would be enough).

Fast Food Nation.

Don't have a lot to say about it, but dang. It's amazing, the level of denial americans are emmersed in.

And finally, a movie just for fun:

Some CRAZY pool shooting.

There's more, but I'm done for this post.
